The aim of this paper is to establish a Virtual landscape Web browse System (VLWS) based on the connection of VRML and Java/JavaScript, therefore, the landscape modeling technology of Three-dimension in Virtual City, programming with VRML and Java/JavaScript, developing dynamic websites by combining Java Applet and ActiveX, and etc. during study on the application of VLWS. After comparative analysis many kinds of commonly used landscape modeling method characteristic, the union current domestic and foreign the actual situation which studies to the Virtual urban construction, explores a Virtual landscape Web browsing system to construct the mentality. In allusion to the designing and constructing of the VLWS, have made a innovation at the key problems and technology: the landscape modeling, the interactive of the dynamic scene and the data transmission on the network, and etc. then take the Virtual Model of J1 building, the nearby road, Virescence and pools of Huang Dao school of Shandong University of Science and Technology for example, to prove the structural method and technology of the VLWS the paper put forward, designed the landscape searching, layered displaying, reality simulating、spatial analyzing, Web issuing, etc. several sub-functions. As a whole, there are many characteristics, low cost, flexible structure、easily expand, conveniently maintain, serve to the masses, low requirement at client and avoidable installation, and have proved that the effect is better after the experiment.
