Geographic Information System, is a computer system composed of both hardware and software, aimed on operating, analyzing spatial data, collecting as well as managing. The geographic coordinates is a GIS’s base information, and the capabilities consulting spatial in the recent several years, GIS and ite correlative technologies has drawn great public interest while developing in a notable high rate. Data is so advanced. WebGis is a product of the conjunction of Internet and GIS technologies.WebGis is essentially GIS with HTTP and TCP/TP standard system embedded, so as to achieve the functions of traditional GIS in the Internet environment.The rapid development of Internet technologies leads traditional GIS to develop network capabilities. In the WEB Geographic Information System, the obtaining, sharing, publishing and analyzing of spatial information is playing a more and more important role in the decision of each department. The sharing of spatial data is the key problem in the study of Geographical Information System.In the market, MapInfo ‘s MapXtreme Java Edition, has widely used in development platform, it’s platform-independent, component-based, object-oriented and it abides JAVAEE certification. So we choose it as a major research and development platform.JavaEE is a java platform to simplify the use of many enterprise solutions to development,deployment and management to complex issues related to architecture.It provides an enterprise-class model and environment of operating calculate for the development , deployment of applocation of multitier architecture.The text had done the three works as follow:(1) The establishment of Campus GIS data model, including data collection,data to input,digital map,map data processing, such as hierarchical.(2) Lucubrated the spatial data processing and analyzing ,exercising the processing technology of vector data got useful graphics data based on nodes,lines,surfaces in map ,and made the ralationship between this things to establishment of topological relations for the spatial query as well as the path analyse,than made it realization.(3) The system chose MapXtreme for Java as develop platform,and the architectrue of JAVAEE as main tool ,carry out an Web application with normal GIS functions which take b/s mode had the function of the spatial data analyzing.The system can give detail datas of query and output.It can make the distance between objects. It also can give the stat of some special objects.The system gathered the campus’space data and existing MIS together, provided with the functions of query and analyze the space data, improved the usability of the campus information system.Researching on the paper was based-on WEB Compus-geography information system,the analyzing and visualization of spatial data is the core of WEBGIS.It’s functions can offer tools for manage and decision-making of compus intramural,also,it can offer convenience for outside.
